Could authentication questions be invasive of privacy?

A significant usability issue is the "Orwellian" aspect, e.g. users feeling uncomfortable with questions that could be perceived as invasive of privacy. The work on selecting a verification algorithm needs to be isolated sufficiently in order to develop an acceptable range for verification data taxonomy and the consequent range of verification algorithms. This work needs support from experimental results of user reactions to the verification data and algorithms.
